So I'm guessing this affects how lolcow topics are created? Some of them (especially the female ones) tend to get naked for one reason or another. Is hiding them under the spoiler tags still ok or is it completely verboten? If yes, I need to edit the Brittany Venti one since she showed her tits at one point.

Shoe0nhead, Momokun, and iDubbz's gf also come to mind, and the latter two have been upping the ante on nude shit
Don't post them even under spoiler tags. Link to them from a third party website. As for the ones already posted with spoiler tags, if you are not able to edit them, let me or one of the staff know and we will go back and edit them. I want to get in touch with support and find out more about this. Thanks

Do not post any nudes even with spoiler tags. It is banned under their TOS. Someone from tech support told us that basically if it is not allowed on television, it is not allowed on GoDaddy. I made a major purchase from GoDaddy and posted about staying here but it may be in our best interests to consult with staff and take a second look at this.

So for the sake of keeping it honest if nudity does happen I have 2 major questions

1) Would censoring it out with a blur or pixelation be alright to post here? (Like TMZ)

2) Would a link to the picture/archive/source be alright to hyperlink here? (We aren't posting it, but we are citing it)

I'm not really sure and I have misgivings about bringing this up to GD because they might interpret this as trying to get around their TOS which isn't going to be very good for any of us.

I think the only question you really need to ask is if off-site hosting is okay, such as on mixtape.moe or archive.is. In that case we wouldn't even need to worry about blurring or censorship and could just link to raw content instead.

I can't say Nigger, Trannie, or Faggot on Tv so can I not use them here? How am I going to insult the custodians of this forum?

So while hardly anyone with a brain would be crying over the lack of leaked nudes, what's the hosting service's stance on booze?

So, can we stick to posting links and censored screenshots of Reddit for when we want to mock how horrific these surgeries are?

We are moving from GoDaddy. Lolcow forums are controversial by default and after taking everything into consideration, in my judgment we are skating on thin ice by staying with them. Our new hosting service takes a more liberal view of the content and I think it will put a lot of people at ease (especially the staff). And judging from the Xenforo forums, our new webhosting service is supportive of the Xenforo software. I have already fill out the forms and initiated the migration process.

With our new hosting service - We will be on the cloud. Instead of 90GB we get unlimited storage. We had 4GB of RAM, we will now get 6GB. With the old plan we had 2 CPUs, with the new one we get 6CPUs and it's way cheaper. It could start within a day or a few days. Everything from GoDaddy moves over. So if the forum goes down this is the reason why. After the migration is complete, I will have to do a few things with tech support to get the forum and websites back up. And of course, I will have security and backup for this. While the forum is down, Discord will still be up.
