Japanese and Chinese mythology is cool, but I prefer Norse Greek and Celtic mythology. I'm mostly in it for the monsters. It's interesting to see depictions in media like movies or games. It's why I like god of war.
I know it's a little basic but sun wukong is one of my favorites. Probably because DBZ was loosely based on it.
Reason: Probably one of if not the most powerful characters in fiction.
