What makes you think that? I'm not sure what a "pre-retirement run" would be. He certainly chose a subject that didn't seem to be the object of Gunts ire.

nfn- I once said (at the time of his last farewell, pre KC) that, if he came back, it should be after he had a family and they were grown up. Do something about film.
