United States News and Drama The SAG-AFTRA strike of 2023 has officially begun

Oh no! How else will we get another season of The Voice or more episodes of that CBS comedy about the organ transplant patient and the woman who's offering him the organ transplant and their wacky hijinks together? I can't remember the name of this television show but surely our culture cannot survive without the scriptwriters and actors that worked on it. think of all the one season wonder Netflix shows that we'll never get now

like I said, I have a feeling that streaming and social media might be next to implode.

I have a feeling social media is next.
Oh yeah. We're already there, really. People realize they fucked up and need to bounce back.

I think the most dystopian part of it all is the people on weibo/douyin who have turned American culture into their Americacore shit. The fact that these bitches go to Costco and Ikea and shit just to take pictures is so funny to me but at the same time I'm horrified.

Higher for longer. No investor is delusional enough to pre finance neo-marxist gramscian culture war at 5.5%+ interest rates while inflation is still elevated, with a declining demand for their products and a growing awareness and rejection among the population toward the "reality" they try to portrait. Nobody ever cares for strikes by producers that don't produce anything of value. Good riddance movie/tv/streaming "industry"
