I know that are probably a number of people on the Kiwifarms who are asking: Is the Onionfarms some kind of a tactic or trolling attempt to take down the Kiwifarms? The answer is a resounding: NO. There are a number of good reasons for this.
One of the main reasons for the Onionfarms is to offer an alternative enjoyable forum with a “kiwi-like feel” for those who feel they don't “fit in” with the environment of the Kiwifarms. This is a much more practical tactic worth pursuing. In other words, taking advantage of the free market of ideas and observing and learning from more successful forums is much more productive.
Trying to “take down the Kiwifarms” is a crusade that ends up in failure with a lot of time and resources wasted. Believe me, I have seen this happen before.
There are Kiwis who are members on the Onionfarms. In fact, I knew this would happen from the very beginning simply due to my publicity concerning my thread. For the record, if someone from the Kiwifarms (who is a member on the Onionfarms) is interested in helping to develop the Onionfarms, he/she is certainly welcome to do so just like anyone else.
The material on the Onionfarms tends to be much more political drama and current events rather than on individual lolcows.
