So what exactly is Parler?
Parler is by it's own definition "a unbiased social media focused on real user experiences and engagement." but by what little information I have they seemingly ban people for porn, trying to kill someone despite posters saying that and still keeping their accounts, posting fecal matter, and not catering to their groupthink. Parler is to Twitter as Gab is to Reddit and like Gab, Twitter and Reddit the community is as cancerous as both. Parler is also a sign up only place to view content which means either having to use a burner account or finding other methods to view content like image searches and browsing other shit tier sites for content from Parler.
Parler got its start like how Gab did. With Twitter and Facebook banning anything right of center. It launched in August 2018, and its user base grew to about 100,000 users by May 2019. However it became initially popular when Candace Owens (who has her own thread here) tweeted about it causing around 40,000 people to brigade and crash its servers. Eventually it soars to 200,000 when Saudi Arabia signed up to the network when supporters of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman migrate from Twitter after alleging they were experiencing censorship on Twitter causing there to be more Muslims Boomerposting. Lastly, it grew even more during the George Floyd Riots when Twitter tried to censor one of Trumps spergfests about George Floyd and mail-in ballots and banning right wing media personalities like Katie Hopkins causing more Boomers to exile from Twatter to their new home on Parler.
The Community:
The Parler Community is to put it bluntly a mental asylum filled with conspiratards who believe everything is part of the deep state plan to control the U.S, edgy Boomers claiming that they want to Minecraft the libs, Facebook Christians who believe that the President is assigned to his task by God, and all around Boomerposts that would make your 80 year old grandma blush

On Janurary 6 2021, a couple hundred or so boomers at a rally for Donald Trump had been fed up with what they felt like was an unfair election and began to storm the capitol. Naturally, to most this was seen as some type of insurrection or coup to overthrow the government and that these boomers had to be arrested, jailed, and deplatformed by any means necessary. On Twitter, numerous people ranging from the president himself to one of the administrators of 8kun to Zyklon Ben found themselves at the end of a permanent ban from social media. Trump had tried to use a few alts which were quickly banned as well. Those banned fled to Gab, Minds, and Parler but Parler itself would be on the receiving end of getting pulled from the Apple and Google Store for violating numerous rules. Amazon would later claim to take down the cloud unit for Parler causing it to most likely shut down temporarily
Conclusion:
All in all Parler is a place filled with the most insane of Boomers, Larpers, and Conspiratards who think everyone else is a brainwashed libtard mind controlled by Soros.
