I'm down the rabbit hole when it comes to the kinds of media I consume and I'm always looking for the next weird thing that's never really being talked about, especially when it comes to darker forms of media. There's something about games, movies, and other pieces of media that are abstract or weird and gross that draw me to them and wonder about the mental state of their creator's. There's the tips of the icebergs when it comes to darker forms of anime, manga, movies, games and so forth that a large community knows about, but I wanted to make a place for the "what the fuck?" pieces that most people would probably turn away from or be caught in morbid curiosity.

There's something about uncomfortable and weird pieces of media that are an obvious draw in for those who fall into morbid curiosities if you're like me.
These are just the tip of the iceberg, but when you see forms of media like this there's a very weird feeling since there's always a gritty feeling to pieces of media like this that get lost through the sea of the web and the algorithms which would rather show us more family - friendly related content when possible.

Mai Chan's daily life was a manga, but also made into a Japanese sick flick. I would not recommend reading the manga.

I wanted to make this thread if anyone else ever had any interesting, weird and morbid related content that they've seen or consumed and wanted to talk about.

The original Japanese version of
The Adventures of Milo and Otis

The Adventures of Milo and Otis (子猫物語, Koneko Monogatari, lit. "A Kitten's Story"; alternate English title, The Adventures of Chatran) is a 1986 Japanese[2] adventure comedy-drama film about two animals: Milo, an orange tabby cat, and Otis, a pug. The original Japanese version, narrated by Shigeru Tsuyuki and with poetry recitation by Kyōko Koizumi, was released on July 12, 1986. Columbia Pictures removed 15 minutes from the original film and released a shorter English-language version, written by Mark Saltzman[3] and narrated by Dudley Moore, on August 25, 1989.

In a forest, a group of white mice commission a doll from the Creatures Who Dwell Under The Oak. But the Creatures grow attached to the completed product and refuse to sell it to the mice. Finding an egg nearby, the Creatures sew it into the doll's belly. After the angry mice return and steal her back, the Creatures set out to rescue their beloved object, encountering a number of obstacles on their way -- from labyrinths to poisonous fruit and a sinister spider-woman.

The 13th floor a movie that was released a little before the matrix and has a similar concept.
In my opinion it's actually a better film.
In many ways
A man awakens to discover a bloody shirt in his house and his boss murdered the night before. Did he do it? Why can't he remember? "The Thirteenth Floor" is a sci-fi thriller that explores the ominous possibility of computer-simulated universes, where people only believe they are real.

I just pre-ordered the new Lacey's flash games figurine that just released. I really like horror like Lacey's flash games, not too sure if it's concerning that I relate to the series.

The series can be found on YouTube by ghosttundra.

It's a good one, I really like these genre's of movies because they're just really beautifully made with an interesting story to tell. There's so many on the list that I could name off, like Paprika, Perfect Blue, Belladonna Of Sadness, The Last Unicorn, Angel's Egg, and so many more that are just lost to time to a niche audience.

Belladonna of Sadness is a beautiful piece, another major one I would recommend above all others.

If I remember correctly Mamoru Oshii made the movie while he was struggling with his faith in Christianity. So the movie explores a ton of religious themes and the film itself is basically an allegory for Jesus.

The fact that Yoshitaka Amano the Final Fantasy artist worked on the movie blows me away. Than again you can kinda the stylistic comparison between Angel's Egg and Final Fantasy.

Belladonna of Sadness I haven't seen that one, yet. I'd like to though as I'm big fan of weird animated movies.
