When it comes to finances, Josh is consistently inconsistent with his figures, and no one is really certain how much money he is making monthly, spending, and has stored away in his walls. Because of trolls and persistent enemies, Josh has had to pull himself up by his bootstraps and buy a server, colocate, and also control his own ASN/IP range [A], July 12, 2019, to bring as much operation under his control as possible, as to avoid attack vectors.

In This Post [A], May 8th, 2020, Josh states he spends $500 USD a month on colocation costs and $1500/year USD on a subnet mask.

However, in This Post [A], December 5th, 2020, a little under 7 months later, these figures have increased to $750 and $2000 respectively.

An odd increase, and one without any justification in posts from what I was able to find. Perhaps he has moved colocation hosts? Perhaps he expanded the IP range? No ideas.
Another odd fact is that he has maintained a $1000 operating cost figure for years, apparently beginning in late 2016 [A].

Again [A] in March of 2019.

A few days later posting a general outline of his expenditures [A]:

And Again in February 2, 2020 [A], also admitting an offer to lowtax of $10,000 for a Xenforo 2 forum migration:

Later in September 10th of 2020 [A]:

And finally the most recently in January 6th of this year [A]:

One figure of note is the cost he has presented for the server. In the "Biting The Hand That Feeds" post, he stated he bought the server for $2000. This conflicts with previous posts of his such as This [A] (3/17/20) and This [A] (4/2/20) where the server is said to have cost $8,800.

Josh has previously stated in a /cow/ post that forum runs off of multiple servers working together (where he also admits he "doesn't do the lolcow thing").

Aside from this he also runs other web services such as lolcow.email. Whether the $2000 figure is an entirely different server or him fucking with the figure for the original "$8,800" server is unknown.

A question that needs to be asked is "How is Josh making money in the first place?". Josh has:
This is just a general thread for watching his money and expenditures. We really have no idea how much he's making or spending as the bills and accounts are completely invisible to everyone. With what we have there are some oddities worth looking into. I made this pretty quickly so I'm sorry if there's a few errors or poor organization.

A question that needs to be asked is "How is Josh making money in the first place?". Josh has:
- Offered hosting/software services such as offering lowtax XF2 migration + hosting for $10,000, and successfully duping Fredrick "Hotwheels" Brennan out of $12,000 for infinity next. [1]
- Accepted $20 for "True and Honest" donor statuses + General donations. [1]
- Attempted/Is attempting to create a base of $100/mo supporters/sponsors. [1] [2] [3]
- Hosted t-shirt/sticker merchandise runs. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
- Ran a Patreon for his stream "Mad At The Internet" (Now defunct) [1] Has run other Patreons previously.
- Traded stocks and Cryptocurrencies. [Multiple posts across forum]
- Ran a cryptominer on the site. (Now defunct) [1]
- Life Savings (Apparently drained now)
