All you people posting about "glowie" this and "fedposting" that and "federal honeypot" the other thing, pay attention to this news item because this is how glowie fedposting really happens. The Police Dept Lt. was not posting openly on a forum trying to agitate random internet retards, he was communicating directly over encrypted DMs with the leadership of PB.
Furthermore, the Lt. did not hide the fact that he was a cop but rather used the fact that he was a cop to present himself as a PB ally with insider access, a "mole" within LE as it were. The leader of PB knew he was talking to a cop, but because the cop was giving him what he wanted (or thought he wanted, if you really know about manipulation and the manufacturing of a need) - tips & leaks on PB prosecutions - he kept an open line to him.
Null said that his communication hierarchy is to use e-mail to communicate with those he trusts least, Telegram is a level above that, and then he uses Signal to communicate with people he trusts the most.
