Colleen Ballinger is suffering backlash from angry ex-fans who have claimed that she and her circle of friends have abused their power to engage in toxic relationships by inappropriately message underage followers. Ex-Fans have claimed they were sent tweets asking about their sex lives and in at least one case bullied over their weight.

Ballinger has a successful vlog account that focuses on her life as a performer, her most success performance was portraying the character Miranda Sings. The character which made its appearance in 2008 wears waist high pants, slicked back hair, and has a drawling nasal voice with bright red lipstick put on far past her lips. 2016 was the height of her YouTube Stardom with about 10 million on her Miranda Sings channel and another 10 million subscribers on her vlog and personal channels.

However, now ex-fans have come forward with allegations of inappropriate contact they shared with Ballinger and other members of her circle. Rather than addressing the allegations against her directly Ballinger took to denying them in a song on a ukulele
