The presidential inauguration was today and A&H is not happy about it.

I thought it was pretty funny how 737 didn't have a good answer for APC so he just resorted to "UR A CANADIAN," and WhimsicalTrolli is being a doomer.
Honestly I can't blame him. I know he didn't do it for these reasons, but arguing about politics is pointless now, especially on KF.
It'll just turn into a screeching match of "no u". That's why most of the threads on A&H or any political thread are echo chambers of either the right or left wing users.

Who is deifying Biden? Do these people not understand you can support a politician without completely and utterly cucking for him? Or that "I think Biden will be better than Trump" isn't deification?

Are all Kiwis like 18-24 and have literally never paid attention to any politics before Trump?
Basically this. Nobody that's a teenager or in their very early twenties even remotely gave a shit about politics. Maybe the older ones when Dubya and Obongo were presidents might've repeated what their parents thought about them, but other than that, they really didn't talk about it since we're too young. I still feel like most people don't give a shit completely about politics until you move out on your own in you mid-late twenties, because you're off your parents insurance at 27 I think and also has been several years since you've graduated from College/University. It starts affecting you when you find a career, 401 k, as well as paying taxes as a US citizen and buying a house/car. You go to school in order to find a decent paying job you like in the future. Most people that are Centennials/Generation Z (exception of maybe people born in 1995-1996) were too young (or not born since Gen Z is until 2009) to really have an affect on major things happening like 9/11 or the Housing market crash and other events. I really hope that most people vote on what's their situation is like at the moment, like (how is x y or z going to affect my current situation) either good or bad.
